Education & Experience:
I’ve been teaching in unconventional ways since 2021, beginning with starting to teach private fiddle lessons out of my home. Since then, my business has grown—I’ve worked with young children, teens and adults. I now teach in the Madison County JAM Program and have done group lessons for a local homeschool group as well. I’m so excited to begin working at Woodson Branch!
Teaching Philosophy:
Everybody learns differently! People learn at different speeds, in different environments and situations. I believe it's important to recognize that and learn to be as flexible as possible to help each child thrive in the environment you can offer. There's no right or wrong way to learn.
Favorite thing about kids:
My favorite thing about kids is the way they think. Because they haven't become familiar with societal norms, ideas, and thought processes, they often offer very refreshing angles and make unique connections.
Favorite thing about WBNS:
Kids can be kids! They’re allowed to be outside, find interest in life and ask questions. Creativity is encouraged and pursued. Life skills and hard work are put into practice.
