FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
Determining enrollment at Woodson Branch Nature School is a thoughtful, intimate, and wonderful process. It all starts with a guided tour of our Madison County campus, including the outdoor garden, indoor classrooms, two-story tobacco barn recreational space, and more. It is essential for us to be able to meet your family in person, show you around our campus, and give you the opportunity to picture yourselves growing with us here (and ask any and all of your questions in person).
After we’ve shown you all the learning spaces inside and out, we’ll discuss whether our school is a good fit for your child’s learning needs. If it feels like we are, then we’ll share an application to enroll your child at WBNS.
Once your application and enrollment deposit are received, we will set up your enrollment assessment meeting date to be held at WBNS between April 1st and June 30th, which will determine their enrollment for the next school year. If accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance or an indication of your number on the waiting list. If it's determined that we may not be the best fit, we will also share a response letting you know why. If accepted, we will set up the Parent Orientation Visit and begin our learning journey together.
ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

Come take a guided tour of the school. Tours are available by appointment only.
APPLY
After completing your in-person tour, you can fill out and submit an application, beginning February 1st, with a deposit of $550, plus a non-refundable $50 registration fee. (per student). *The deposit serves as the student’s last month’s tuition upon departure from WBNS. It is also the only way to remain on the official waiting list. *It is fully refundable should you ask to be taken off the waiting list at any time.
ASSESS
After sending in your application and deposit, if there is a space in your child's prospective grade, we will set up an enrollment assessment meeting at WBNS.
